Licensing and Archiving
Copyright and Article License
Authors retain copyright in their work and grant the International Journal of Business & Computational Sciences (IJBCS) a non-exclusive right to publish and distribute it. The journal is published by the Health and Education Research Network, Islamabad, Pakistan.
The current article license is Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). Users may copy and share the unadapted material for non-commercial purposes with appropriate attribution, a link to the license, and retention of applicable notices. The license does not authorize commercial reuse or sharing adapted versions. Additional permission must be sought from the relevant rights holder where required.
Each existing Version of Record retains its originally granted license. A website update does not retrospectively replace an article license. Third-party content may have separate conditions identified in its credit line.
Archiving and Preservation
Published articles are accessible through the journal website and issue archives. Website hosting and operational backups are distinct from independently verified long-term preservation. No external preservation coverage is asserted here without a publicly verifiable service record identifying the journal and covered content. Information about any confirmed arrangement will include the service name and coverage link.
Authors may deposit their manuscript or published article in a suitable institutional or subject repository, or a general-purpose repository such as Zenodo, subject to the applicable version license, repository rules, and third-party rights. Include the journal citation and a link to the Version of Record.
Persistent Identifiers and Discovery
A DOI identifies an article but does not itself preserve its content. A DOI is stated only when registered and resolving to the relevant article. ISSN registration, search-engine discovery, selective indexing, and digital preservation are different services; none should be represented as another.
Corrections and Retractions
The journal maintains a traceable scholarly record. Substantive changes require a dated correction or other appropriate notice linked to the article. Where findings are unreliable, a retraction or expression of concern may be necessary following editorial assessment. Retracted articles ordinarily remain accessible with a clear notice; exceptional removal requires a documented legal, privacy, or safety basis. Publication dates, authorship, and findings must not be silently altered.
