2. Locking Policy
Final Publication is Permanent:
Once an article is published, it is permanently archived and cannot be altered or withdrawn unless ethical violations occur.
Post-Publication Corrections:
Corrections due to errors will be handled transparently via erratum, corrigendum, or retractions per COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.
Retraction Policy:
In cases of plagiarism, falsified data, or ethical misconduct, articles will be retracted with a public notice explaining the reason.
3.Archiving Policy
The International Journal of Business & Computational Sciences (IJB&CS) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published content. The journal employs multiple archiving mechanisms to safeguard scholarly works from data loss, technological obsolescence, and accidental deletion.
Digital Preservation Strategies
To maintain the integrity and availability of published articles, IJB&CS utilizes the following archiving methods:
LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)
The journal participates in the LOCKSS system, ensuring multiple copies of published articles are stored in distributed locations to prevent loss.
CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)
IJB&CS deposits all published content in the CLOCKSS archive, providing perpetual access even if the journal ceases operations.
Institutional and National Libraries
The journal partners with university repositories and national libraries for additional backups.
Publisher’s Internal Archive
A secure backup of all published content is maintained on the journal’s official website and cloud-based storage.
DOI Registration
Every published article is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), ensuring permanent online accessibility and citation tracking.
Self-Archiving by Authors
Authors are encouraged to deposit their published work in institutional repositories, personal websites, and subject-based repositories such as arXiv and SSRN.
Third-Party Digital Repositories
IJB&CS partners with global databases like Google Scholar, Scopus, and PubMed Central (if applicable) for wider visibility.
4.Policy on Content Modification & Retraction
Corrections: Minor errors (typos, factual updates) will be updated with a correction notice.
Retractions: If ethical violations, plagiarism, or major errors are discovered, a formal retraction notice will be issued, with the original article still accessible but marked as retracted.
